Easy Oven Method for Moofish Marinated Chicken
The best thing about marinated chicken? You don't need a complicated recipe.
This simple oven method can be adapted to your chosen Moofish marinated chicken cut.
Ingredients
1 pack of your favourite Moofish Marinated Chicken
Olive oil, optional
Your favourite vegetables or salad, to serve
Rice, potatoes, couscous or crusty bread, optional
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven
For most chicken pieces, preheat your oven to 200°C fan-forced.
2. Prepare the chicken
Remove the marinated chicken from its packaging and arrange the pieces in a single layer on a lined baking tray.
There's no need to add extra seasoning – the chicken is already marinated and full of flavour.
3. Leave space between the pieces
Avoid overcrowding the tray. Giving the chicken enough room allows hot air to circulate and helps the outside develop a delicious roasted finish.
4. Bake until fully cooked
Cooking time will depend on the cut, size and your oven, so use the suggested cooking instructions on the product where provided.
As a general guide, smaller pieces such as wings and wingettes will cook faster than larger cuts such as Maryland or Butterfly Chicken.
5. Check the chicken
Chicken should be cooked through before serving. Use a food thermometer in the thickest part of the meat, avoiding the bone. The internal temperature should reach 75°C.
